I did not know until during the severe weather last week (tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings) that Fox8 has a "Live Feed" in which you can log on and let the Fox8 Weather Team know what the weather is like where you live!!! This is an excellent resource for anyone who is concerned about a storm, and what it may be bringing to your area by "chatting" with viewers "live". If the storm has hail, strong winds, torential downpours, etc., this resource can give you the information that you need from the people who live in this area. Also, as we were reporting what the weather was doing in our cities, or towns, the Fox8 Weather Team was checking what we were reporting and in turn, reporting this to the viewers on the Fox8 Special Weather Bulletin. I must say that I was very impressed with this, and will go to this site anytime that we have any severe weather in the area. Just remember, it is when the weather alerts says "view live stream" (which is the live video on the station, except on your computer). When you have a satellite, or cable, that goes "out" during bad weather, you can keep up with the severe weather on your computer due to this new technology that Fox8 has added!!! Kudos to Fox8 for keeping the public informed at all times!!! Try this site out the next time there is severe weather in our area! You will be pleasantly surprised at how informative this format is to the viewing public!!! Thanks, again, Van, Emily, Julie, and Neill, for they stayed on the entire time that the severe weather was a problem for the viewing area!!! Great job, and great dedication!!! That's why we love Fox8 (WGHP)!!!
