>       This guy wants to be our President and control our government. Pay close
attention to the last comment!!  Below are a few lines from Obama's books "

His
words
:

From "Dreams of My Father", He wrote,
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at
the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating
myself to whites."
>
"From Dreams of My Father":he wrote,
"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive
sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."
>
From Dreams of My Father:He wrote,
"There was something about him that made me
wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.

"From Dreams of My Father": He wrote ; "It remained necessary to prove which side
you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name
names."

From Dreams of My Father:He wrote,
"I never emulate white men and brown men
whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black
man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the
attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela."

  "From Audacity of Hope":He wrote,
"I will stand with the Muslims should the
political winds shift in an ugly direction."

>>

Holy Cow !    He's lost his mind, and so has anyone that voted for him
!  Go be President of a Muslim country, then !   OR IS IT TOO LATE FOR US!!!!???

Read his book if you really want to know where he stands... especially the foreword.

There are some very common emotions and reactions that occur as people learn about race in our country. I mean learn about it; not the millions of Americans who avoid the problem and look away.

Millions of young black Americans follow the same pathway: They begin to learn about race relations very early, but in history classes they actually learn some facts.

They first become depressed or ambivilant towards the information. Then they will be angry for quite sometime. Their anger will be directed towards the white community and even the US and moves towards a deep interest in everything about Africa. But then they come to deal with the issue and move towards a completed person working towards bridging the gap that exists between the white and black companies.

A similar process occurs in whites as they learn about racism in our country. Whites begin with sadness as well but replace it with "white guilt". Eventually, whites will move out of that and help with bridging the gap as well.

Our society has every single representation at the same time: we have theignorant, the ambivilant, the "angry black man", the white burdened by guilt, but we also have those who are working to better race relations in this country.

I am proud that I voted for Obama. I believe him to be the best president of the three. As far as race is concerned, his positions on race demonstrated in the Philly speech, show that he has come out of his racial education and has moved to helping with the wealth gap and the education gap. Vote for change! Vote for Obama!

EB--read? Why would you do that when you can take blurbs out of context, make them into sound-bytes and manipulate the meaning of them? No, no--this way is MUCH better...
