WELL it looks like its going down to the wire with Corious George (LOL) OBAMA and Hillary, and boy I hope and pray that Hillary wins. Lets remember though regardless if your black or white that whomever is elected president can only do so much, and that the majority of the thing has to be approved by congress. That being said I urge you to vote on the facts of these canidates then ask your self can he or she actually do this without congress approval if you come up with the answer I don't know then research it . weigh this when your voting and make the logical choice. IN my opinion OBAMA is not the peoples choice, nor is Mccain. But i do believe that what this country needs is a woman as president. also ask youself how honest have they been?

how honest they have been? What planet have you been living on since billy bob was in the white house.........do you know Hillary was all but arrested for white gate, the Clintons has an attorney for their co. commit suicide, BillyBobRocks had a string of affairs & Hillary is so dumb she "stood by her man" How honest they have been? I think not........and if , and I say if, she got elected, she would just prove what has been said all along about her, she really is a man.........

Well, seeing as NC has already had it's Primary, there's not much one can do about the Obama/Clinton race, unless you happen to be a superdelegate.

If the woman running for President happened to be Condi Rice, I'd fully support her.

If the black man running for President happened to be Gen. Colin Powell, I'd fully support him.

But, unfortunately, neither is running in this campaing, so I'll not be supporting a woman nor a black man.

Oh no...
For once (I think) FarmTruk and I agree on something... it's going to snow! Lol! :)
Seriously though, I really wish these two were in on the race. Maybe then we would have a chance as a nation. As it stands right now the country is back to Civil War times with the country completely divided. If we can't agree with ourselves what sort of chance do we stand in the global/international arena.

I agree with all of you as you know these are my opinions. But I'll say this I'll never vote for a black person unless it's Colin Powell. all THAT i"m trying to say and in p***poorway is don't get lulled into a false sense of security.I fully believe that a politician regardless of who they are will lie through their teeth to the voters in order to win them over to their side.the us congress really runs the country in conjunction with the president. some things he can do somethings he can't without congress approval.

Powell got out why? Maybe he saw the future. Rice weighed in, but some of her bags were overweight with Bush stamps.

Give me another choice.

FarmTruk, and poteatlee, I totally agree and have been 'screaming' for Colin Powell to run for president for years (but he doesn't want the job). He would be great!!! Condi Rice, well as far as being a 'woman' is a good candidate, but there is far more to being a good president than being a 'good candidate' (not saying that I wouldn't vote for her). Sorry, but Hilary (in my opinion) cannot run her own family, so why should I trust her with the 'keys to the country'? Poteat, unfortunately a president cannot do a lot without the support of the Senate and House of Representatives, and if a Democrat wins, and gets NOTHING DONE, well they cannot blame it on these things since they are both in Democratic hands now. If a Democrat wins, I don't want to hear any 'whining' about how they couldn't get what they wanted done, since the majority in both the Senate and the House are Democrats! That is why the country has its major complaint against Republicans, because the president cannot get anything passed with the other party being in control! I have lived through the years of Republican and Democrat control in the government, and can honestly tell you that although there have been good 'intentions', nothing has ever been done of good consequence while a Democrat was President for at least since JFK!!!

Get your affairs in order the world as we know it is coming to an end China will tell us when where and how, just wait and see!
