Van Denton, you surprise me more and more each week. I do not trust anyone with the weather except for you.  When the tornado hit Stoneville, NC, I was working there at the time, but luckily was on vacation.  I did, however, visit my mom that day in Mayodan, but due to your accurate reporting, I went home before the storm hit.  I was disappointed in myself for not being with my mom, but I just knew to get out of there.  Everytime there is a chance of a sever storm, I plug into you because you are very detailed and don't blow things out of proportion unless needed.  I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work.  Hope you have no plans on leaving...........

I am a mother of 2 along with 1 stepchild currently living with us. I work full time in Colfax, NC. I have worked at Konica Minolta which laid off earlier in 2007 and I greatly miss working there. I currently do not have any hobbies. I do however like peace and quiet in my household (meaning no TV's or video games playing constantly). I want my kids to enjoy life outdoors and create their own adventures as my siblings and I did when we were younger. I want to be a success in whatever I do and am proud of my accomplishments thus far. I am originally from Madison, NC and then I met my husband in which we started living together in our own place in Greensboro,NC for approx. 3 years and then we moved back to his hometown, big ole Reidsville, NC and we have been here every since. That has been 8 years ago and still going.
