I feel that Mr.Obama is being misread by people, because of the remarks by Rev.Wright.As for me,listing to the WHOLE SERMON.i can understand the context that he said what he said, and other than he using GOD's name in conjuction with a curse word,i don't see anything wrong with what he said. Thats life in a black church.See what a lot of people don't understand is that the black church in a lot of ways the heart of the black community. When things happen and the people start to feel unrest, because of lets say evil acts.its the black church where everything is put into perspective for us.And it's Pastors like Rev. Wright who will tackle the issues, fire them up,then break them down and then bring in the bible and out of all that you get a message of tolerence. We as black understand that. It's white people who don't,and to condem or look down upon Sen.Obama, just because he knew him is just plain wrong. And in the event that you agree you feel that you should put him down, Then answer this one question for me.
If you are a white person and you say that you are not a racist, then in all reality you know someone that is one or you have a family member who is one, you've known them for years, you are also aware of how they feel about the other race. And yet when they commit a racist act and you say and do nothing, and when the Rev.Wrights come along complain about our treatment, you cry foul.........Question : Just because you konw them don"t that make you a racist too?
