Did you know that teens who will be 18 before the November election can vote in the upcoming election? If they are not registered, they can register and vote at the same time, at any early voting precient. Early voting ends on Saturday. I only heard about this last week. If it was on the news or in the papers before that, I must have just missed it. I didn't want anyone to miss out on this opportunity. My daughter and I went to vote today. It was fun watching her vote for the first time. She was looking forward to voting in November, but was extremely excited to be able to vote this time as well, since there are so many important races. Whether it is early or on Tuesday, don't forget to get out and vote!

I am a mother of 2 teenagers. I have a great husband who supports me staying home and homeschooling our teenagers. My daughter will be a senior this year and my son will be a sophomore. I have homeschooled from the beginning of my daughter's schooling. We are in our 13th year. God, my family, and my church are the most important things to me. I grew up in PA, but my husband is from the south. We moved here after my daughter was born. We have lived here in NC for 17 years and I would not want to live anywhere else. I was a Plan Administrator of pension plans before moving here and becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom! I plan to go back to work in the next year to help my daughter through college. My life is pretty boring compared to some, but I wouldn't change a thing.
