How Swede It Is

Riddle me this, fellow babies:

A young serviceman goes into a diner.  He tells the waitress the following:

"I want my breakfast on a square platter.  In the upper right corner, I want 2 fried eggs.  In the upper left, I want grits.  In the lower right corner, I want a piece of wheat toast.  In the lower left, I want one well done sausage patty."

How did the waitress know he was in the Navy?

250 million Viking Points to the 1st correct answer.  In the case of a tie, we flip a Norwegian.

"The Mysterious Island" by JV? - Sorry, been a while -

The British Navy served a "4 square " meal comparable to that w/ 1 egg and corn...

What's the Norwegian look like?...I like mine well done, or else completely raw...don't wanna ruin the aroma...

Norwegians look like Swedes; however they walk with a stooped gait from bearing the burden of not being Swedish and they have "Property of Oslo" tattooed on the back of their necks.

Although they are used to it, it still is bad form to point and scream when you see one in public.

(Provided as a public service by the Swedish Norwegian Detection Ministry. Penalty for private use: 2500 kroner.)

Are their Banks as secure?

Their banks are secure insofar as that no one has yet to care about their monetary system which is based on handfuls of moss and pieces of twig.

Yes, by the power vested in me by me, I award you 500,000 Viking Points as you are the only one to give a rat's about this post so far.

(NOTE: Although Viking Points mean nothing (like a relationship in Vegas), they still are worth more than Norwegian currency.)

I was born after waiving extradition in October 1959. My mother was a goalie coach for the pond hockey team at a juvenile detention center. My father was the first to combine Doritos with Clearasil, thus causing and curing acne at the same time. Think of me as the one who pushes the Bull***t button on the game show of life. My interests are Swedish maritime hymnals, Victorian iodine bottles and four-digit numbers.
