The more I drive, the more I realize that there are an awful lot of people who shouldn't drive!  The ones that annoy me the most are the ones that will speed right past you and quickly cut in front of you missing you by only a coat of paint, and expect you not to hit them!  What up with that?  How are these people getting a license?  How do they make it past the DMV?  How can one go through driver's ed, the license process, a learner's permit and still be an idiot by risking everyone's life in the immediate vicinity when they drive?  The ones that I am talking about are the huge risk-takers trying to get just one more car ahead.  Where does that mentality come from?  Where are the HP?  How did they get a license?  When will the roads be safe again?  Is it really worth the risk to get just one more car ahead?  Are they really going to get there any faster?  Who really gives a flip?  Just curious, mind you...

I know just what you mean ! One thing that really scares the crap out of me is when I see a woman come by me on the interstate running 75 mph, talking on the phone, putting on makeup, and drinking coffee all at the same time.....who's driving the freakin car !!! :-)

Or turned around dealing with kids in the back seat! Has somebody invented an auto-pilot or something?

The HP are waiting for me to go 71 in a 65 or for my inspection sticker to wrinkle and disrupt the barcode. I hear you get 30 to life for that.

Can I get a sheesh from the folks on I-77?

The major problem with drivers today consists of 2 things: NO DRIVER'S EDUCATION, and lack of common sense! Courtesy would be too much to ask for, but if a little common sense and a good driver's education course could be incorporated in their lives, we would all benefit from it, LOL! I feel just like you all do!!! PEOPLE LEARN TO DRIVE!!!

I drive 200 miles a day. My biggest gripe involves four-lane rapid transit or interstate system. The driver who sits in the left lane doing the speed limit or a little less and refuses to move. That's what the right lane is for, and hey if you're lost; pull over. Don't drift in partial lanes looking around for a road sign. Lead, follow, or get the heck out of the way. Time is money.

Try riding a motor scooter on the road. I don't mean on of those little putt putts. I mean a big one that you have to have tags and insurance, inspection etc, just like a car. They will kill you if you are not careful. You really have to be aware of what is going on or you will be run down. With the gas prices there are going to be a lot more of cycles on the roads. I took a drivers safety course and the main topic of the whole school was planning an escape route for those dumg motorists who don;t see you or don't want to see you. People cut across mall lots instead of staying in the lanes and will pull right out in fron of you. They are killers out there and when you beep your horn, you get flipped off. A lot of worldly people out there.

I am a married female and travel with my job so I am only home three days a week. My passions are my children and my pets. I have four dogs; Barron (German Shepherd), Zoie and Nellie (Boxers), and Nikki (Pomeranian). We also have five parakeets, Fred, Ethyl, Ricky, Lucy, and Mrs. Trumble. While my grown son and his cat used to live with us, he and Miss Kitty finally moved out. However, my lovely grown daughter gave us her cat, Cosmos. So now we have a new cat who, of course, rules the roost. You should see this cat attack my German Shepherd...it's hilarious! My husband and I also share three grown children but have no grandchildren as of yet unless you count the grand-dogs and grand-cat, LOL. We enjoy many things together and also have our own personal enjoyments. My husband enjoys being Darth Vader and makes appearances at public events. He is currently working on a Storm Trooper costume as well. We both love Renfaires and dress up according to our Scottish heritage and attend when possible. I am a computer geek while my husband is not terribly computer literate. I get a great deal of joy out of building my own computers and challenging myself to make them faster and faster. We love to live a quiet and peaceful life and love helping others. I love a good debate and my husband is totally non-confrontational, which makes life interesting at times!
