My husband sent me this email from work and I think it is worth reading for everyone.  Enjoy!

Just wanted to take a moment during this crazy time of the year, to breathe and remember things happen for a reason...

The L I T T L E  Things...

As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow is alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One went back to
Answer the telephone.

One had a
Child that dawdled
And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't
Get a taxi.

T
he one that struck me was the man

Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.

That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am

       Stuck in traffic
,

Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone
.
All the little things that annoy me.
        I think to myself,
       This is exactly where

   God wants me to be
       At this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be

Going wrong,
The children are slow getting dressed,

You can't seem to find the car keys,

       You hit every traffic light,

       Don't get mad or frustrated;

It May be just that
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you

With all those annoying little things

And may you remember their possible purpose.

Pass this on to someone else, if you'd like.
        There is NO LUCK attached.
If you delete this, it's okay:

And Merry Christmas!

Pray tell, with all your dogs, do you live on an acreage?
Just wondering.

Thanks all...Merry Christmas! Notachance...not a chance! I have just shy of a 1/2 acre lot in a subdivision. My dogs are my babies now since my children have grown up. They act like kids, too! LOL They have been a great joy and comfort to me and I am blessed to have something like them in my life to help me through the "empty nest".

I am a married female and travel with my job so I am only home three days a week. My passions are my children and my pets. I have four dogs; Barron (German Shepherd), Zoie and Nellie (Boxers), and Nikki (Pomeranian). We also have five parakeets, Fred, Ethyl, Ricky, Lucy, and Mrs. Trumble. While my grown son and his cat used to live with us, he and Miss Kitty finally moved out. However, my lovely grown daughter gave us her cat, Cosmos. So now we have a new cat who, of course, rules the roost. You should see this cat attack my German Shepherd...it's hilarious! My husband and I also share three grown children but have no grandchildren as of yet unless you count the grand-dogs and grand-cat, LOL. We enjoy many things together and also have our own personal enjoyments. My husband enjoys being Darth Vader and makes appearances at public events. He is currently working on a Storm Trooper costume as well. We both love Renfaires and dress up according to our Scottish heritage and attend when possible. I am a computer geek while my husband is not terribly computer literate. I get a great deal of joy out of building my own computers and challenging myself to make them faster and faster. We love to live a quiet and peaceful life and love helping others. I love a good debate and my husband is totally non-confrontational, which makes life interesting at times!
