The last few weekend anchors prior to her just seemed to be lacking something.

Not saying this just because Melissa just posted, but she has the great TV presence, personality, and "family orientation" to fit the Fox8 team perfectly. I've always felt they were "part of my family" and Melissa fits in great! Melissa, you really have a caring, humorous personality, and in my book, that's the type of person I want telling me my news! Thank you for being there for us!

I agree with all of you. We love Melissa, no matter what she is doing! Great job, Kiddo!

If you ever have the pleasure to be interviewed by her, you will see just how easy-going she really is. It's like sitting around with a friend, chatting about old times. She has that effect on people. You forget that there is a "camera rolling", and you kinda hate for the interview to be over. And yes, she IS that "bubbly and perky"! Great job Melissa ;-D

Always have enjoyed whatever Melissa did. Always comes across as being one of us in everything I have seen. Thanks.

Seriously though, thank you again for your kindness. As a reporter, you have to put yourself out there... vulnerable to your viewer's opinions which is a little scary sometimes. It helps so much to get such nice feedback. I really appreciate all of your comments.

I do too, Rocker, because it saves a lot of money on buying these "gadgets" that you always wonder "Wow, this would be great!". And then you buy it, and it doesn't even come close to working as easily as "shown on TV". But, Melissa is a great anchor on the weekend, too! If you get the chance, check her out (and I know how difficult that can be when your 6 year old is wanting to be "on the go" on weekends).

You all are correct. TV or in real life, Melissa is the same sweet person.

She is definitely the real "Deal" (not Dud.)
