A Personal Thanks To You...

On April 4th, 2004, I began a journey and an honest effort to begin recovery. Also, I met my fiance whom I will marry on June 15th of this year. These are two very significant events in my life and today, exactly four years later, I can celebrate a double anniversary with pride. I give credit where credit is due to myself and to my sprituality, which is a big part of the programs. But I also want to share these anniversaries with you, the MyFox news team and all of the bloggers. Because by keeping me busy in not only the MyFox Detroit website, but also in 12 other sister MyFox city websites I have been able to focus better on my recovery. We may or may not agree all the time but that is the nature of this business. I hereby applaud all of you that have read and/or commented on my posts as well as the many posts I have commented on; Because you have been part of a miracle-My recovery-And I can't thank all of you enough. So give yourselves a pat on the back and know that I am thankful for you keeping me busy in these blogs & believe it or not, YOU ARE helping me stay in recovery-KKEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!Photobucket

Oh OK, Duh to me! No way, I am here for the duration! I enjoy blogging in all the different cities and it does keep me quite occupied; Along with getting a variety of opinions & humor at times, it is well worth it to me. Come to think of it as I proofread this, it does seem like a mild farewell dosen't it? NAH!!! LOL.

I am presently disabled due to a work injury in the construction field. I was born & raised in Detroit for over 40 years. I presently reside in Macomb County, in recovery since April 4, 2004. I tend to post & reply from actual experiences and topics that lean towards informing people about positive things, while making sure that the real story isn't lost in the shuffle. My posts & comments are my opinion, letting you be the judge based on the issue & current events. (Good ole Disclaimer stuff). I am all for America & Americans, but not for government control & political games. I don't candy coat nothing & give what I receive. Life is too short to play mind games or waste my time with negativity. Welcome!
