What does the word friend mean to you? It has a few different meanings but  what does it really mean?  I think it has a different meaning for each of us and will tell a little about ourselves.

As a lifetime Packer fan yesterdays news that Brett has asked for a release from the team blew me away. I love The Pack and I love Brett! I cant get imagine him playing for another team, cant come to terms with that.  I know he has earned the right to do what ever he wants and I should wish him well but that would be very difficult. He retired, that was hard enough to deal with and now this!  Im sure many Packer fans are feeling the same as I do. Im hoping just maybe he will be back  wearing number 4 for Green Bay but that maybe is wishful thinking on my part. I may need some psychiatric help before too long on this. Help!!

As most  of you know Im a huge Packer fan and today is a sad day. Brett Favre says he will retire. For the past 17 seasons he has been our qb and our leader.  Now he wont be there. How will it be without him? It had to come sometime but I did not think it was now. Im sad and thinking about the future of the team because Im selfish. I have been spoiled by his great play and longevity. I think you have to be a Packer fan to really understand what this day means. I could go on and on but for now all I will say is Brett say it aint so.
