I think that the people ought to rise up and re-elect George Bush for one more term. He probably won't completely ruin this country by the end of this term, so I think that we ought to be sporting and give him another 4 years to complete the job and totally ruin America.
I think that we ought to put Elizabeth Dole back in to be one of Bush's puppets again and re-elect Richard Burr another Bush puppet.
I hope that all North Carolina voters will consider this and let's put back the worthless politicians so they can totally ruin our great country.
Stand up for America and put the bums back in office.

Ms. Elizabeth Dole is back at it again. Pardon me, Senator Dole. Where are my manners. She is back all over the TV letting us know what she has done and is going to do for us. The bit about helping us with illegal aliens really got me. She obviously has a big "S" on her chest and is faster than a speeding bullet, and is able to leap tall buildings at a single bound. Hummmm... I am wondering why now is she doing all of this and is so visitable on TV. Do you think that it just might have something to do with the election in November? Could be.
Where was she fighting for truth, justice, and the American way and illegal aligns for the past 10 years when the problem was growing all around us? She was in Washington with all of her rich cronies enjoying her power and bowing to the will of his majesty King Bush. She did whatever he said to do. She never stood up to the Republican White House no matter how it effected you and me here in North Carolina. She knows the rules and she is a good clone for the Republican machine.
All of that was enough to make my blood boil, but now I hear her TV ads where she says that she did not support the policies of King Bush. Yes she did and now she wants to convenience you and me that she didn't. She did.
Why do you think that she has 10 times the money for her campaign than Kay Hagen? Let me float a possible reason for you to consider. Her rich buddies in Washington want her back because she is a puppet for them and she does not stand up to them for you and me. If you think that she does and that she did not support King Bush and his gang, then you are in luck. I have a bridge for sale just for you in New York. A real bargain and I will throw in a building in Washington as an extra bonus just for you.
Earlier this year, I called Dole's North Carolina office. I wanted to find out what she had actually done for me as a citizen of North Carolina. I asked the young lady that answered the phone if she could tell me something that Senator Dole had done for North Carolina. The young got indigent and told me that Senator Dole has done lots of things for NC. Name just one for me, I asked. She couldn't. I apologized for my rude call and hung up. How dare a citizen ask a Senator what she had done for me. Totally rude. I apologize Senator. Please forgive me.
You call her office and ask. 704-633-5011 and see if now perhaps they have figured out what to tell the lowly citizens. Try. You might be surprised. I think that you will get a good laugh.

Barack Obama has promised while running for President that he is the man to bring the white race and the black race together in harmony. I do not see how he is going to do that. I believe that he and his wife Michele.see the white race as oppressing the black race. The whites are holding back the blacks from achieving success.

Yesterday I was in Wal Mart with an elderly lady buying her some toothpaste and things of that kind. As we were trying to leave Wal Mart there were several blacks standing in the middle of the aisles, basically block traffic. They never once tried to get out of anyones way. They stood their ground and everyone, especially whites, had to find another way around them. It has taken blacks a little over 1 million years to get to this point in their development. I guess that it will take them another million years to learn simple curiosity and to come to realize that all whites are not out to harm them or suppress them in any way and to learn that a large part of "their problem" is simply their attitude and their outlook" and the white are not to blame for that folks.
I read an editorial by a black columnist from Miami that stated just those thoughts. He theorized that if everyone except the blacks were to leave America today and only the black race was left, America would be a ghetto in one years. I think that he is right and I believe that Barack and Michele Obama will enhance that idea and create a greater separation between the whites and the blacks.
So by all means put Barack Obama in the Whitehouse and watch America become even more "The greatest nation in the history of the world!!!" Yea Right.

George Bush and our wonderful politicians do not want to bring socialized medicine to America. Their argument is that it will actually hurt America. The truth is that it will hurt the wealthy doctors and drug companies.
However, these very same politicians have instituted socialized wealth. When Bear Sterns was about to go under, our politicians stepped in and bailed them our with your and my money. "It was for the good of the economy!"
President Bush and Congress will break their neck to help bail out the rich folks, but they will take on massive problems like steroids in baseball and who is looking into passport information, while good, hard working Americans are losing their homes, their health insurance and paying more of their take home income on gas to the rich oil companies.
Since George Bush took office, my wife and I pay more each month for prescription drugs than we do food and now, we pay more for gasoline than we do food each month.
And George Bush actually thinks that his presidency is going to be ranked right up there with Thomas Jefferson when History writes it's final assessment of him.
It may it may if the rich folks get to write the history books.
I actually wonder how our politicians ever sleep at night knowing within their sorry hearts actually what they are doing to the good, hard working Americans.
They do not care at all about you and me.

Some where back when I was going to school in the 1950s and 1960s, I kind of picked up this notion that there was freedom of speech in America and I kind of thought that it applied to everyone.
That is no longer true in America for white people. Don Imus can say three very stupid words over the radio and he is crucified by the media and threats abound from Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton that they would boycott in the streets. So Don Imus was crucified.
A black woman can lie to the police and the justice system and ruin the lives of many white boys and men and nothing is said or done to her. Jessie Jackson even offered to pay her school tuition.
How does one equate these two incidents?
Which one is freedom of speech and who does it apply to?
Geraldine Ferraro can make a statement that "Obama would not be where he is today if he were not black." She was then fired from the Clinton campaign and touted by the media for her statement. Being a white woman, I guess that she does not have freedom of speech.
A white person cannot make any remark about a black person in the media in today's world. If they do, they tread on the threats of Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton and any remarks from a white person about a black person, is always racial and discrimination against that black person, no matter what the words spoken were.
That ladies and gentleman is freedom of speech in America in 2008.
Now remember, Bob Buckley and many others in this blog system, have vehemently stated that "This is the greatest country in the history of the world". For who? White people who no longer have freedom of speech?
I am sure that the 91% of the black voters in Mississippi voted for Obama for his record in the Illinois house and his record in Washington and they examined his record in both state and national politics and they listened very closely to his plans to march America forward in the 21th century. With all of this examination, they cast their vote for him. OR did they vote for him simply because he was black and they had no idea his past, his experience, his plans, or anything.... HE WAS BLACK and therefore he had to be president and he got my vote, thus spoke 91% of the blacks in Mississippi.
Now don't you think that Geraldine Ferraro is absolutely right and don't you think that freedom of speech is no longer allowed to white people if the words spoken are about black people in 2008 in "the greatest country in the history of the world".
Sad but true.
And I have no doubt that my words here will cause me much discrimination in this blog because I spoke words about black people and I stepped over the bounds of my white person freedom of speech.
My sincere apologies to Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton.

It just keeps getting better and better for the American people to see the real George Bush. The Pentagon issued their report that Saddam Hussein and Iraq had no ties to Al Quada at any time.
The American people without selective memory can remember that this was one of the prime reasons for George Bush "King Bush" as he is known as around this neighborhood, to start a war with Iraq and cause the death of over 4000 brave Americans needlessly and cost the American people over $1,000,000,000,000.00 ONE TRILLION dollars that could have been spent on health care, education, housing, and other little things like that for the American people. Instead King Bush started his war to finish what daddy didn't have the guts to finish and now King Bush has used the US Federal Credit Card and ran out the biggest national debt in history and my grandkids will be paying off King Bush's war debt for the next 100 years if America survives that long.
I'll bet that if there was some way to add up the number of deaths that occurred after King Bush started his war and some how figure the number of deaths that Saddham would have caused in the same time period if King Bush had not have started his war, King Bush's total would have been far greater that those of Saddham.
Down with Despots... Long live King Bush. Hail to the King.

Finally at 6:23 PM Rich Brenner on Fox 8 News Sports reported the defeat on Carolina by Duke. It was about a 45 second piece with only Duke players.
Back in January when N.C. State went to Chapel Hill and got totally destroyed by Carolina, I know that I watch Rich Brenner show that piece three or four times in the morning and three or four times in the afternoon. I remember the great detail that he went into about how great Carolina performed and was so much better than the State team..
I guess that I must be totally uninformed about news and about Fox 8 News Sports. I thought that they were suppose to be unbiased in their reporting even in sports. I really don't see it when it comes to Carolina.

In case anyone didn't know, Duke beat Carolina last night in Chapel Hill. The final score was Duke 89 Carolina 78 and Duke BEATTTTT them good. To my Knowledge and watching Fox News this morning from 5:45 AM to 7:00 AM and again tonight from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Rich Brenner never once mentioned the game in any way. He did report on the Wake Game last night though.
And this is an up-to-date, unbiased news program? I makes me wonder .
Back when Phil Rivers was at N.C. State whenever the State Carolina football game was scheduled to happen, the Carolina athletic office always opted not show the game on regular TV. They opted to show it on Pay-per-view. As soon as Phil Rivers graduated, the Carolina athletic department returned to show the games on regular TV.
They wanted the fans to really see the game. Yea Right. They did not want to see N.C. State and Phil Rivers beat Carolina on live TV.
Whenever Carolina thinks that they are going to get beat, they will shun TV or any public forum. When Carolina gets beat like they did last night, they don't want to put it on TV or any one to know about it.
Well Rich Brenner why did you not have a piece on your news either in the morning or the evening news? I guess that you will plead scheduling by your producer. I watched the weather segments out in the Midwest and here played multiple times during these times.
Carolina certainly knows how to win. They just don't know how to lose or to be gracious about or to be gentlemen about it. If they lose they take their basketball and they go hide in their house like little children.
No wonder so many people pull for their school in the ACC and ABC (Anybody But Carolina.) Makes perfect sense to me.

The other day when Tom Britt correctly predicted the ice and snow and freezing rain, it happened and the roads were some what tough. I always take my wife to work in those conditions. We travel 52 for about 10 miles and I always see some very unusual things.
Tractor trailor trucks had to be doing 65 MPH on 52 where the speed limit is 55 MPH. Did any of these guys ever study Physics? They have got to realize the larger the mass (the weight of the vehicle) the harder it is to stop that mass. The same applies to SUVs you know. They also should have studied the coefficient of friction (stopping on ice is harder than stopping on dry asphalt). Just because they have 18 tires on the ground does not give them any more ability to stop than me who has 4 wheels on the ground.
What are these guys thinking? They absolutely should be required to take a Physics course before they are allowed to drive a big rig. The same goes for SUV drivers.

several years.
My husband was the breadwinner,and we had three children together. We went to a very nice church, and we were
involved in all sorts of fundraising and charitable events.
Last year I found out
that my husband was
embezzling money. We lost the house the vacation home, the
nice cars, etc. He and I are in divorce proceedings, and I am trying to
get my life back on track.
The problem here, however, is the church.
While we were
married, we gave much more than the 15 percent that was tithed,
from his paycheck. Now that we don't have this money, I cannot
afford to give 15 percent of my paycheck, and we have been pretty
much shunned by the church.
Amy, I need to feed my
kids with this money, and I don't understand why the church
won't accept us and accept what we can give.
The pastor drives a
Mercedes, and his wife drives an Audi, so it seems that the
church isn't in too much of a financial bind.
Should I try to give them
the 15 percent of my paycheck by pulling in lots of
overtime, or should I just find a new church? — Sad Mom

to your question.
First of all, my
research on tithing indicates that it is traditionally 10 percent of
a person's income.
If
your church is pressuring you to give more than you can afford — and
shunning you when you don't, that's not tithing — that's extortion.
It's
time to find another church community that is more inclusive and understanding.

You folks here in North Carolina are very hard working Americans. You are very patriotic and caring folks. With all of your hard work every day, each couple in North Carolina that is in the work force is supporting one illegal alien from Mexico. You are paying for his medical care and the education of his children. The next time you see a Mexican in a Cadillac Escalade, wave at them and shout "you are welcome."
While you and your wife pay for one illegal Mexican, think about a couple of statistics for Mexicans in the Triad.
[1] Since 1990, Western Unions' business in the Triad has grown 700%. I wonder why.
[2] Since 2000, the second largest influx of money into Mexico, was from Mexicans in the United States using Western Union to send money back to Mexico.
So you and your wife pay for one Mexican's education and medical care while they wire their money back to Mexico. And who says they are dumb!!!!
Does anyone besides me see anything wrong with this picture?
We Americans pay lower prices for things because businesses use cheap Mexican labor. We save money on the one hand.
We pay out money every day for their education and medical care on the other hand.
Do you think that you are coming out ahead with the support of your one Mexican who is breaking the law every single day of the year that he stays in the United States? I think that it may be cheaper if each family in North Carolina adopt a Mexican family in Mexico and just send them money every month. Then businesses can go back to hiring Americans to work for them and prices will go up some, but we will be supporting American workers again and our debt to Mexicans will cost us less.
What do you think of that idea? I'll run it by King Bush.
