Since it looks like Sen. Obama will be the next President, I was pondering the songs they will play at his victory party on election night. I submit these:
"Sharp Dressed Man"- ZZ Top
"Ebony & Ivory"- Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson
"Barack in the U.S.S.R."- The Beatles
"Biden My Time"- Herman's Hermits
"Y.M.C.A."- Village People
"Church of the Poison Mind"- Boy George & Rev. J. Wright
"I Only Have Ayers for You"- Frank Sinatra
The Venezuelan National Anthem
Please feel free to add other possible songs on the playlist.
Columnist William Rhoden just wrote an article stating why Curt Flood should be in the Hall of Fame. I concur. Curt Flood and Marvin Miller should both be voted in because of their efforts against the Reserve Clause. Every modern day baseball player should be thanking these pioneers for their lifestyle.
I do think free-agency has gone overboard, but the old "plantation ownership" days had to go.
Opinions?
