Larry
Tilley 90 Degree Board on Fox 8 TV WGHP
The Fox 8 TV WGHP news and Blog team do good for
people. They really know how to make
viewers become part of the news. The Web
Team makes discussing news and current events possible and the TV crew knows
how to make a person feel important. I
was really impressed 7/29/08 when Van Denton the evening Meteorologist went out
of his way to mention Larry Tilley had given him an idea. Van had a subtitle and a new layout for Larry
Tilley’s 90 degree board and thanked him for the idea. Then the anchors Neill McNeill and Julie Luck
went on to mention they wanted a board named after them. Van Denton had time left to mention his Son’s
Birthday. I have no idea if Larry Tilley
has access to video or not but thought he might like to save the clip. So I
made time to cut this for him.
Anyone that knows Larry can download the clip from here:
http://tinyurl.com/larrytilley90degreeboardonfox
I cut it in .avi .mpg and .wmv. There are five videos because I cut three
different formats with a subtitle and two extra without a subtitle. If Larry wants a DVD so he can play it on his TV have him
shoot me an e-mail to the address in my
Fox profile.

Here is the scoop on Aros and Cody:
Aros is about 5 years old and is a purebred German import. He comes from
champion lines, but he was turned in because, according to the breeder ... he
has no drive. That sounds fishy-so I don't know what the scoop really is, but
he does look like a champion import line. He hates cats, was kicked by a horse
recently, and has a very large prey drive/not play drive (so he likes to kill
squirrels, but not chase a ball) ... but we'll work on that. He can sit (
sitz), down (platz), stay (bliphe), and heel (foos). He does well at the park
and in the house and car. He is an excellent deterrent to crime since he looks
like a killer ... but he is just a big baby. Now .... He needs a very alpha
owner because if he does want something, he will use all his 80 pounds to get
it (like the cat and squirrels). With an alpha owner, he is a big baby. He just
had mouth surgery to remove a canine and some molars that were broken by the
horse kick, he has a few cysts that the vet was going to take care of then (one
on his left neck, one on his lower back, and one on one of his sides), but
didn't get to because the surgery was so long. Nothing to worry about, they
just need to be excised by the vet.
Cody is a Ferrell girl. They don't know much about her except that she looks
like a coyote and is about 7 mths old. Animal control wanted to put her down
because they thought she could never live with people in a house. Wrong! She is
scared of everything and needs Aros around to protect her. She has had
accidents in her crate when she is scared, but basically is housebroken. She
loves her crate and as long as she has access to it, she is fine.

Penguins Fly Southwest, The Funny
Byrd and Rusty Interiors!
This story set off a mash-up of my
family and friends! My wife loves Penguins!
She doesn’t just love any Penguin though. We’ve seen a story on these traveling Penguins
before. We were both thrilled to see
Southwest Airlines use them to promote a new flight! My brother is a pilot for Southwest. This story reminds me I need to get some
inside info on the troubles the airlines are having.
My friend Rusty Cooke is a talented
artist and musician. My Wife and I are
currently flipping our house. Rusty is
painting our walls. He’s not just an ordinary painter. He does unique designs for interiors.
My new friends from The Band, Se7en
South provide some snazzy Jazz to move my slide show right along! The Song Happy Pizza Oven comes from their

The Fire Byrd!
Just like The Flash, Fox Weather’s Meteorologist, Emily Byrd Carries The Torch
for:
Greensboro’s Bicentennial Torch Run
Featuring:
The Greensboro Running Club
The Southside Running Club

What impressed me the most after switching shifts and running
a marathon was the way Emily Byrd plugged the event and the special clubs!
I just noticed something, Just at the scene change and the sphere transition it looks like the shadow of the cameraman running backwards. Is he?
I promise, before I saw this thread:

I caught Miss Byrd singing. I enjoyed it so much, I copied it, made her
dance and googled how she makes watching the weather report fun. From a Googled post I can get an embedded code. A googled code doesn't spike the video with unknown extras. I was holding back to post it to My Newsroom until I received
permission to post, but after reading this I have to post it. I will take it
down if I am out of line.
If Dancing on the news
gets blocked, How does one handle all the Brutality, murders, robberies,
rapes, gang violence and War. I am
grateful for a News Team that is Brave enough to bring us positive news. A news team that rescues animals that need
homes. An upbeat team where each member has some sort of hidden talents. A team
whose personalities are real and not manufactured.
Thanks Emily Byrd and The Fox Team for adding a spark to
The Triad!

When I saw Tom Britt’s Orange Barrel report on myfoxwghp.com, it made me think of my friend Bello Nock of Ringling Brothers and Daniel Reeves
of The make a Wish Foundation. Bello recently gave 6 year old Daniel
Reeves a Bello Action Figure. Daniel Has Leukemia. Fox could
begin selling Action Figures when you do your school shows! Recycle
Highway Department Cones! Awesome way to make the best of a cold icy job!

Marathons and The Byrd

Speaking of Marathons, let’s hope The Oak Hill Capital
Partners gives Emily Byrd her own live-in suite at the studio. How
about a generous hunk of that 1.1 billion!? Besides gaining publicity for Fox
with her running Marathons I am wondering when she ever sleeps. Somehow
she even manages elfing around with Danny and Julie! From the luxury of
my home I see her on at 5am all through the morning, then again through the
afternoon up until after 11pm. If she gets to work at 3am or 4am to put
on her show face that leaves a good 2 maybe three hours for sleep. When that
studio light comes on it takes a real pro to keep that Show Face!
Fly well and try to stay awake on the road to and from work.

Don't let those out of Staters tell you how they can drive in any weather where they were from! Most States with regular snowfall have the equipment to handle the downfall, we don't! No matter how much equipment you have, ice is treacherous! Black ice is worse. Your best friend in their 4-wheel drive truck is going to slide down the road just as easily as anybody.
Stay Home, make some Hot Chocolate and go play with your Dog(s).
Remember to let your Dogs come in with you, especially on days like today. Some good fun chasing the snow for your Dogs is great, but prolonged exposure is deadly.
