I thank God for the working force in America, but now I am retired and I have worked all my life and paid taxes honestly all these years. I thought all americans would get the 600.00 relief check. But the only people that get a check is the people that work and pay taxes. If the young people don't get out and vote the Senior Citizens will carry the Vote in North Carolina.
The seniors and disabled are the ones that need the help, the ones that have paid their dues to society and now they are left out again. Their incomes are fixed and have no other means of any more income. Yet most of them are stuck with their grandkids during the school season to babysit while their children can get out and work. Not giving them a dime, not even bringing snacks, or food for them to eat. They are doing this out of love, using some of their little check to furnish milk, cereal, etc. for their grandkids. Their Kids just expect that you are just sitting there with nothing to do. They have raised their Children and now they have to raise their Grandchildren.
Who do we vote for? Which one is on our side and want to help the Seniors, that really need the help? Could someone tell me this?
I know the above from experience. We have had our grandaughter since she was born. Two and half years. Of course we love her very much, but when you mention a dollar then they get offended, yet they go out to the most expensive restaurants to eat, have memberships in health clubs, and tanning salons. Always buying expensive clothes, etc. I could go on and on. Then they come around and want to borrow your lawn mower, a shovel, a ladder, and all your tools and then never bring them back, you have to go and get them.
Then they get $1500.00 check and have already got it spent before they get it. We get nothing, the ones that really need it.
It's just plain greed. The government knows this. Why didn't all US citizens get this little relief to help us out?
The Seniors are left out again, but carry the majoriy of the vote. They manage to get out and vote while the younger generation just sit back and don't vote.
Can someone shed some light on this situation?

I am a born again Christian. I attend a Pentecostal Church that the minister preaches the true Word of God. I attend at every chance when I am able. I am a Senior Citizen and have seen a lot of things in my life. Some good, some bad. I have found out that you cannot put your faith in man because he will fail you but put your faith in God and He will be with you until the end. If someone lies to me twice I feel that I cannot trust that person. That doesn't mean that I don't love them. I love everybody and I don't play Church. I don't compromise the word of God to please man. I compromise myself so I can please God so I will be a good sheep in His flock of many. Thanks to anyone that responds to my posts.
