Some of you may remember that in December I was diagnosed with cancer.  Several said they would pray for me and for that I am very thankful.  I just wanted to let you know that your prayers have been answered.  I had surgery last Wednesday and all cancer cells were removed.  There is no need for further treatment at this time.  As we all know there are several years of waiting for a recurrence and I do have that facing me but as of now, I am cancer free.  Thanks to all of you for your prayers but most of all I thank God for answering those prayers.

Praise be to God! I have been praying for you and I am so thankful that God chose to answer our prayers in this way! God bless you and I pray you recover from your surgery quickly!

Praise the Lord!!! I was thinking about ya the other day, just wondering how you were doing with the cancer and if you decided to go with the treatments or not. I am so glad that everything is a-ok. You are still in my prayers as well as everyone on this site!!! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!!!

You are indeed blessed. It feels good to pray for someone. It feels better when you can see the results in someone you know. I'm thrilled for you. You have the opportunity to help others because you've been through the entire cycle of discovery, mapping out a strategy, seeing it to fruition, and having dynamic results. Your story will help others.

I have been married for 30 years and have two sons of my own as well as a step son and two step daughters. We have several grandchildren and each one is a light in our lives. I am retired from a state agency (early retirement) and currently drive a truck for a local company. In my spare time, I enjoy doing some woodworking in the small shop that I have at my home and my children and grandchildren have all benefited from my hobby.
