If your answer is 35mph you are very, very wrong. It must be 70mph.I know there is no way the police can cover all these small 2 lane residential streets and some people have no respect for other people's lives or property so they drive as fast as they want.If they place no value on their lives at least they could put some on ours. This means you Mr.Mustang convertible, green Dodge pickup, and Corvette man.

I agree with you all the way. You forgot to ask, does the pedestrian always have the right of way?
This is for all of the people who speed through the Wal*Mart parking lot in Greensboro. They forget that there are family's with SMALL kids and DISABLED people crossing the store entrance to the parking lot. These people need to think of how they would feel if they hit and either killed or seriously hurt someone. What would they say to there their family? All drivers need to remember that we need to drive responsibly.

I think part of it is that they have done it for so long and got away with it what's to stop them ? Well, how about a ticket, higher insurance rates, and a civil suit if you hurt someone ? But it'll never happen to them, they're too good at speeding....they think.

I agree about speed limits. Bad areas for speeders that cops seem to ignore are Hilltop, Glendale, Groometown, the area around Sumner Elementary School (they speed in the school zone) and many other areas.

I go the speed limit (sometimes 2-4 over) and people behind me hate it. Too bad. I'm not old (I'm 35), I just respect the law and lives of others. They can ride my tail all they want, I ain't speeding up.

Age doesn't have anything to do with driving responsibily. I've seen older people driving wildly just like the young. Sometimes I think that some seniors are worse than some of the younger drivers. People just don't respect the law like they used to. They have not got caught yet and they think that they can drive any way they want to. If you blow the horn at one of them you are putting your life on the line. They want to curse you out and fight because they ran a stop sign and pulled out in front of you causing you to slam on the brakes, and there is not a single car behind you. How dare you blow the horn at me? Who do you think you are? Try riding a motorcycle out on the road, it's even worse than a car. They just ignore you. That's the mentality of the world today. Nobody tells me what to do.

I know I can't go 35. I have a line a mile long behind me if I go 35. and right about the older fokes they can really take off.
