Hello,

Its that time again to make the prediction on what the deepest snow will be this upcoming winter season. I did this last winter and was no where close. I know we all live in different cities so if you would guess the deepest snowfall for your city and then guess for Toast NC. We will go by the snowfall at the Mt. Airy airport for our official reporting station. Also for those of you who don't know Toast is a small city with only two stoplights or close to that just outside of Mt. Airy. I just thought this would be something neat to do and whoever is closest we will do some type of prize or gift certificate. We will take guesses through November 30th. Then at the end of Winter we will see who wins. Also please browse the totals and try and pick an amount that hasn't been guessed yet.

Gerald....

I think Mt. Airy will get a good 5-6 inch snowfall this winter. However in nearby Toast where you love.....only a dusting. :-)

I say that in the Thomasville-Silver Valley area (where I live), we will get about 2.5 inches of snow this winter. Hope it is more than that, but 2.5 inches is my guess.

2.5" for Burlington...

Your toast will only get buttered... I mean dusted..

PS I hope for WAY more though, just being realistic.

I think we(Thomasville) will have a foot or more this year and for Toast two foot I just think we are all going to be surprised because we haven't had much lately :-)

Ghicks, I'll say 7.77 for Reidsville, where I live, & the same for you in Toast.

Would prefer it to be waist high but.....

Burlington - 1.5 inches
Toast - 3 inches

I think Mocksville will get 1.5" and Toast will get 3.5-4".

I hope we all get surprised with more than we are predicting.

I would like for Greensboro to get 14inches of snow this year. However i think that we'll only get 1 inch of snow and maybe 2 inches of ice.
