Hello,

Its that time again to make the prediction on what the deepest snow will be this upcoming winter season. I did this last winter and was no where close. I know we all live in different cities so if you would guess the deepest snowfall for your city and then guess for Toast NC. We will go by the snowfall at the Mt. Airy airport for our official reporting station. Also for those of you who don't know Toast is a small city with only two stoplights or close to that just outside of Mt. Airy. I just thought this would be something neat to do and whoever is closest we will do some type of prize or gift certificate. We will take guesses through November 30th. Then at the end of Winter we will see who wins. Also please browse the totals and try and pick an amount that hasn't been guessed yet.

I JUST THOUGHT YOU GUYS WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ON THURSDAY MORNING AROUND 8:30 WE HAD A BRIEF PERIOD OF SLEET IN TOAST NC WHICH IS A LITTLE NORTH OF MT. AIRY. IT ONLY LAST AROUND 5 MINUTES HOWEVER I DID SEE A FEW SLEET PELLETS BOUNCING AROUND. MAYBE A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME????

I thought it would be neat to start a contest guessing how deep our biggest snow will be. I will start off by saying it will be 17.5 inches on January 21st. Let me know your thoughts!!!
