FRF WEEKLY UPDATE: AT THIS TIME WE ARE REMOVING ANY CHANCE OF WINTRY PRECIP ON THURSDAY, TEMPS LOOK TO BE A BIT TOO WARM FOR THAT AS IT STANDS NOW. THIS WEEK LOOKS TO START A BIT WARM WITH TEMPS NEAR 60 ON TUESDAY BEFORE WE GET A BIT OF RAIN. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY HAVE TEMPS COOLING A BIT, TO NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS. THURSDAY NIGHT LOOKS TO BRING US SOME RAIN IN, TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE NEAR .50 TO .75 INCHES OF RAIN. NOT MUCH, BUT WE WILL TAKE ALL WE CAN GET. WE HAVE A BEAUTIFULL WEEKEND ON TAP WITH TEMPS IN THE MID 50'S FOR SATURDAY AND SUPERBOWL SUNDAY, WITH PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES....

TAKING A PEEK INTO THE LONG RANGE WE SEE A CHANCE FOR SOME WINTRY PRECIP LATER ON NEXT WEEK. MODLES SHOW US RIGHT ON THE BORDERLINE, SO ITS GOING TO BE A CLOSE CALL. WE WILL WRITE A SEPERATE BLOG ON THAT COMING SOON
STAY TUNED TO FRF FOR FURTHER UPDATES

It seems that they have called off any chance of snow next weekend. Do you think that this is our last chance? Or do you think we will have a pattern change mid to late February? I am really hoping for some snow!!

Amy,
As of now, yes we see no chance of snow this weekend :( we are crying our eyes out too LOL . Our weather is being influenced by the Pesky South East ridge. This forces the storms to ride west of us, and keep us in the warm sector. As of now.. we see no significant pattern change for the next 2 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed! we still are nowhere near done winter yet! some of our biggest snows have came in February and March! Have a Great Day! and thanks for posting!
