The Redneck Board Game:

A woman in Oregon invented this board game that decides who's the most redneck... basically, you have a series of mini-games throughout like "Pin the tail on the donkey", and if you lose the game... you lose a tooth.  The person with the most teeth at the end of the game, wins...

So, we're curious does this offend you?  Do you think this is a stereotypical look at the South?  Would you purchase the game?

By the way, Amazon an Toys-R-Us already have the game... so if you're itchin' to play... you can go pick it up.

Hate speach is hate speach. What if it was The N**** Board Game full of sterotypes and hate speach jokes? Wonder why Cave Men and White Country Folk are the only groups that its ok to call names... Guess its cause we can take a joke and don't sue... but its still hate speach

Redneck is not an individual.
It is a lifestyle culture That I am damn proud of it. It is about time we rednecks got a bit more recognition.
Now to answer your question.
No.
I would not buy the game because I live the game. I got more important stuff to spend my money on, like my Bud, racing tickets and my riding lawn mower amongst other important stuff.

I love the stereotypes. When people stereotype and underestimate you, YOU have the advantage. My brother-in-law is from Long Island (he now lives in Atlanta), but he STILL thinks we're all down here living in huts with dirt floors and using out houses. We got him a bumper sticker that says "I'm not from the South, but I got here as quick as I could." But he too is embracing his transplanted Southern culture. He recently asked me when he would be considered a Southerner. I told him, "Never." He replied, "But I married a Southern girl and have lived here for 12 years!" I said, "So?" He replied, "OK, but if your sister and I have kids, they will be Southerners, right?" I said, "Nope." He asked, "Why not?" I told him, "Sean, if a cat crawls in the oven and has kittens, we don't call 'em biscuits." He's still scratching his head...

@Maps
when you write N****, I'm gonna take a guess that you're talking about black people. So I will tell you there was a monopoly game created that I can only assume was targeted at black audiences. It's called Ghetto Monopoly. And yes, it is full of offensive stereotypes. Offensive to me, but some black people I'm sure don't mind. Just as there will be some people who refer to themselves as rednecks who won't mind the Redneck Board Game. I guess it just depends on the person, and whether or not they think the stereotypes are offensive.

I agree with DaraM. I think it just depends on the audience. Some would be offended by it, some would go out and buy it. Either way, let the people and the free market decide. If it's in poor taste, then it won't sell and they'll move on to the next brainless idea. But there's no way some "gov'nment" agency should make that decision.

There IS a "Sexopoly" (106.5 FM).....if you're not VERY close to your Poker (no pun intended)/ 8-Ball partners, don't waste your bucks...Kinda like an adult Truth-or-Dare/ Simon Says Thing...can ruin a perfectly good cookout by bringing this out...
