It was "one of those days", as they say, and I didn't have the cord to download these pictures for our newscast tonight.   Terribly frustrating on my end, and I've heard that the kids were also very let down.  I'm very sorry that I couldn't show your beautiful faces on the news tonight, but I will have them on Monday morning between 6:40 am and 7:00 am if you can set your VCR's.

Thank you for the warm welcome that you gave me when I visited!  Franklinville is a lovely town and your hospitality was greatly appreciated.

I bet they will forgive you. Are they all wave riders or head bangers?
Most cameras have a memory card you can take to any drug store or Wal-Mart in a pinch. You could then go from camera to cd to your download destination. If you were near a Star Buck’s or Book Store with a Wi-Fi connection you could send the pics via your laptop. Some laptops have memory card slots. I just bet anyone in a Circuit City or Best Buy would fall all over each other trying to help get your shots to the station before deadline. Then after helping they will sell you an extra cord. Hotels or truck stops along the way are good places for internet connections. Some cell phones act like a modem but the transfer speed is just that above dial-up. You still have to get the pics or video to pc or cd. All of this info of course is in case you can’t get back to the station on time. Tell them you want a Nikon with an attachment that sends the shots immediately back to the station via its' own Wi-Fi connection! I imagine a satellite truck is the best!
It’s amazing to me that you are able to switch your schedule so frequently!

Hi Cook,

They are doing the FOX 8 chomp! (The fingers you cite are the fox's ears, the two middle fingers/thumb make the fox's mouth).

I love the weather. I love animals. I think that "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" "Bones" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" ROCK. As music goes: Yo-Yo Ma, Daughtry, Allyson Krauss (and Union Station), Black Eyed Peas, most any John Williams soundtrack (especially Memoirs of a Geisha and Harry Potter), Wagner, Handel, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, and I could go on and on.
