If you didn't get out to the Dixie Classic Fair, don't worry! You can still make it to the NC State Fair in Raleigh to enjoy some of these AWESOME foods:

(There was a picture here of one of my very pretty friends eating a corn dog, but using better judgment I decided to let you use your imagination.)

CORN DOG

Yes, between four women, we ate all of it. Plus, there was a giant soft taco at the end of the evening that went undocumented. My fingers wouldn't work the camera after all that sugar...

The machine is called the Hoppin John, an old steam engine that churns the ice cream. I like their Oreo (non-fried) ice cream.

YUMMMMM, there's a guy at the State Fair who has Crab Cake Sandwiches....wow! They are sooo yummy!!!!!

I love the weather. I love animals. I think that "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" "Bones" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" ROCK. As music goes: Yo-Yo Ma, Daughtry, Allyson Krauss (and Union Station), Black Eyed Peas, most any John Williams soundtrack (especially Memoirs of a Geisha and Harry Potter), Wagner, Handel, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, and I could go on and on.
